Pharmacy Billing Technician – Full-time

Collects third party reimbursement for patient prescription drugs. Inputs billing information into third party billing system. Must be compliant with current Medicare part D regulations on fraud, waste and abuse guidelines which include but not limited to inappropriate billing, false claims submission and illegal remuneration schemes. Verifies third party information with Emdeon or by calling the insurance company before entering into system. Checks patient billing and insurance information for eligibility purposes. Maintains files of third party information in an organized manner; retains records for proper retention time specified by regulatory agencies. Performs online billing and back-billing of claims and rejected claims. Retrieves and submits paperwork as required by insurance companies. Checks pharmacy inventory for expired medications. Orders medications and returns medications no longer used by the pharmacy. Assists pharmacy with inbound calls during peak times. Logs third party payments in a timely manner and maintains accurate and efficient account system. Maintains quality control by verifying billing changes with the Pharmacy Director and the Billing/Contracting Specialist Manager.  Required: knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance; experience with EHR/RPMS; current Oklahoma pharmacy technician license.

Benefits Clerk

The Benefits Clerk provides clerical duties and support to Benefits Coordinators. The clerk contacts patients regarding follow-up on obtaining documents as well as information from patients and will return phone calls and accept benefits applications. The clerk will also run checks for uninsured patients and respond and educate patients on available programs and benefits. The clerk will need to be proficient in Excel/Word and knowledge of EHR/RPMS is a plus. Candidate must have GED or High School Diploma and 2 years of related office experience preferred.

Patient Relations Representative – Full-time

Greets patients; obtains registration information. Determines eligibility status for new patients by obtaining the Certificate Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) or other documentary proof of tribal membership. Assists patients in completing new and updated forms for the RPMS Patient Registration System. Obtains signatures as needed. Obtains eligibility via eligibility verification system over the internet using the patient’s Medicaid and/or Social Security information; updates Medicaid status. Copies third party recipient health care and explains billing and payment processes to patient and family members. Determines eligibility for Medicaid programs (SoonerCare, SoonerPlan, etc.) and assist with application process.  Submist SoonerCare applications online in a timely manner and conducts ongoing follow-up. Screens for Marketplace eligibility.

Requires high school diploma or GED and one year of experience in a medical facility. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record preferred. Medical insurance background a plus.
