Case Manager Registered Nurse – Full Time

Passionate Registered Nurse eager to apply professional case management principles in a medical home setting. Experience in case management, medical, care manager or a related field. Ideal candidate will be energetic, highly motivated, flexible team player; readily adapting to a quick paced, demanding environment. Some essential duties to include:

  • Effective communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging case management knowledge
  • Coordinating and providing care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
  • Assist patients achieve wellness and autonomy
  • Managing multiple case assignments
  • SoonerCare and Medicare knowledge and willingness to attend training
  • Prior Authorization process knowledge
  • Facilitate multiple care aspects (case coordination, information sharing, etc)
  • Develop effective working relations and cooperate with medical team throughout the entire case management process
  • Collaborate care with Indian Health Services as well as outside facilities
  • Interact with patients to keep track of their progress and to ensure satisfaction
  • Record referral information, accurately complete all necessary forms and produce monthly report to be provided to the Director of Nursing
  • Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations
  • Provides education to patients and families
  • Schedules appointments
  • Retrieves and responds to patient telephone messages and EHR notifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED. Knowledge of Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) strongly preferred. Must possess a current Oklahoma Nursing License in good standing with the OK State Board of Nursing. Candidate with RN-BSN is preferred but is not required. Current CPR is required.

Dental Hygienist

Performs dental measures designed to preserve teeth and prevent the spread of oral disease by performing the following duties. Performs prophylactic dental treatment, including dental hygiene and treatment for periodontal disease as prescribed by the dentist. Instructs patients in oral therapy, toothbrush procedures and proper diet and nutrition related to oral health. Provides oral health education and organizes dental prevention activities for clinic patients and community groups. Performs instrumental examinations with dentists in the evaluation of the teeth and surrounding tissue; Feels and visually evaluates gums for sores and signs of disease. Examines with dentists and evaluates gums to locate periodontal recessed gums and signs of gum disease. Feels lymph nodes under patient’s chin to detect swelling or tenderness that could indicate presence of oral cancer. Cleans and removes calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums with hand and mechanical instruments. Applies fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to arrest dental decay. Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist. Exposes, develops, mounts and files x-ray film. Makes impressions for study casts and administers local anesthetic agents and nitrous oxide. Removes excess cement from coronal surfaces of teeth. Administers prescribed medication, applies desensitizing agents and sealants. Develops and maintains a periodontal recall system. May function as dental assistant as needed. Candidate must possess an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited school required; prefer Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited school.

Custodian

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is looking for an full-time energetic team member to join it’s team.

The daily janitorial duties include emptying waste receptacles, sweep, dusts or wet mops floors. They will clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, water fountains and telephones. Replenishes supply of towels, toilet tissue and soap in each restroom. Washes windows at receptionist desk and patient entry areas. Disinfects chairs and reception desk surfaces in lobby and other departments; disinfects tables in examination rooms to ensure sanitation and maintains all equipment and supplies used by custodial staff.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Experience in operating cleaning tools and powered waxing and buffing equipment; high school or GED preferred.

Psychiatrist – Part-Time

Provides professional psychiatry to patients, primarily ranging from age 5 to age 24, including medication management, brief psychotherapy and referrals.  Provides assessments and management of diagnoses according to the DSM-5 including but not limited to Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Disruptive Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders. Charts clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, referral, and accountability. May conduct crisis intervention for walk-ins, over the phone, or by medical department referral. Will provide psychiatry to some older adults as well.  Experience working with children and families is a plus.  Must have license to practice in Oklahoma and Board Certification or eligibility.
