Certified Coder – Full Time

Reviews and verifies accurate codes are assigned by clinicians to claims following the standards of ethical coding, developed by the American Heath Information Management Association (AHIMA), American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) and by the ICD-10-CM coding conventions, official coding guidelines, and rules established by the American Medical Association. Identifies missing diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and modifiers based on visit data in the electronic health record. Verifies appropriate E&M codes are assigned by clinicians. Consults with clinicians to clarify when code assignments are not straightforward or, missing or if documentation in the medical record is inadequate or unclear. Continually enhances and maintains coding skills through continuing education to stay familiar with changes, guidelines and regulations.

Requires high school diploma or GED, Certification in Medical Coding two years of medical billing/coding experience preferred, typing proficiency of 30 wpm or more, and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance and major coding systems.

Health Information Clerk 

Prepares charts for new patients. Processes and analyses patient medical records. Complies with privacy regulations to ensure confidentiality, security and integrity of patient files. Retrieves and prepares medical records as requested by medical, dental, public health and other Clinic staff. Files lab results, health summaries and other documents into patient files as required. Enters this data into the Release of Information package electronically. High School Diploma or GED certificate required. Medical records experience preferred.

Dental Scheduling Clerk

We are currently looking for a full-time Dental Scheduling Clerk. Candidate must have prior dental office experience, exceptional customer service skills and dental scheduling experience. The Dental Scheduling Clerk will schedule future appointments and handle incoming phone calls. They will assist patients in accordance with the training they have received ensuring patients receive the best possible service. Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal.

  • Answering Telephones
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Maintaining Appointment Book
  • Confirming Appointments
  • Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Checking voicemail on a daily basis
  • Follow up on Referral Letters
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients

Recruiter

Work with hiring managers on recruiting needs for their department.  Create job descriptions and job postings.  Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.  Interview applicants, analyze responses and compare qualifications to job requirements.  Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.  Administrative duties and recordkeeping for Affirmative Action requirements.  Ensure all hiring paperwork is completed as well as screening protocols are completed (E-verify, I-9, drug tests and background checks).  Continuously explore new recruiting sources, job boards, and forums in an effort to grow the candidate pool. Assist departments with temporary needs and establish working relationships with agencies. Create training material and train staff involved in the interview process.  Some clerical and administrative responsibilities as assigned. 2-3 years of recruiting experience and knowledge of legalities of recruiting required.  Must be outgoing and self-motivated, strong time-management and organizational skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus and discipline.  Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, and the Internet.  Must have experience in mapping and sourcing resumes. HRIS (Human Resource Information System) experience as well as PHR or SPHR a plus.

Claims Processor

OKCIC is looking for a Claims Processor to process all claim submissions for adjudication and payment. Meets required performance guarantee deadlines, company objectives and production and quality standards.Investigates questionable claims and/or services with certified coders. Answers phone calls regarding claims questions as needed. Verify patient insurance coverage information; Create and process claims in the Patient Accounts Management System (PAMS) and Practices Insight; Submit and follow-up on HIPAA Compliance Claims; Create claims to meet timely filing.

Requirements and Education

Must have 4 years experience of medical billing and ICD-10,CPT, HCPCs codes required.

Dental Assistant – Full-time

Job Summary

Seeking a professional, reliable, and self-motivated dental assistant who is team oriented. Position is Monday -Friday 8-5 p.m.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must:

  • Have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience.
  • Be proficient in Dentrix.
  • Have current Oklahoma X-ray, and coronal polishing certification.
  • Be in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry.

Required experience:

  • Dental Assisting: 1 year

  • Xray
  • Coronal polishing

  • Be able to treat a minimum of 8-10 patients per day.

Psychiatrist – Part-Time

Provides professional psychiatry to patients, primarily ranging from age 5 to age 24, including medication management, brief psychotherapy and referrals.  Provides assessments and management of diagnoses according to the DSM-5 including but not limited to Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Disruptive Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders. Charts clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, referral, and accountability. May conduct crisis intervention for walk-ins, over the phone, or by medical department referral. Will provide psychiatry to some older adults as well.  Experience working with children and families is a plus.  Must have license to practice in Oklahoma and Board Certification or eligibility.
