Benefits Coordinator


The candidate conducts personal interviews with new and established patients to identify eligibility for alternate resources; ensure that the patient understands their entitlement; explain Indian Health Care Improvement Act Amendments of 1988, P.L. 100-713 requiring Oklahoma City Indian Clinic to seek payment from any medical program in which the patient might be eligible to participate; communicate clearly with patients to ensure understanding. Will also search for Medicaid eligibility via online Eligibility Verification System, using the patient’s Social Security and/or Medicaid information; update Medicaid status in RPMS system including termination date.

Determine eligibility for Medicaid programs (SoonerCare, SoonerPlan, etc.) and assist with application process. Submit SoonerCare applications online in a timely manner and conduct ongoing follow-up.

Provide counseling to Medicare beneficiaries and individuals who are new to Medicare regarding Medicare services, supplemental coverage, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Medicare Part D. Assists with Medicare Part D annual open enrollment period plan comparisons.


High school diploma or GED and 2 years related office experience; computer experience or training required.

HPDP Patient Relations Representative

The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is currently looking for a Patient Relations Representative to greet patients upon presentment to the wellness center. The Patient Relations Rep will update patient registration information, including demographic and third party information, authorization to bill and alternate resources, including non-beneficiary services. They will also be responsible for scheduling patients for the wellness center, physical therapy and other Health Promotion Disease Prevention (HPDP) programs. They also maintain documentation for HPDP programs at the wellness center. They Patient Relations Rep will also schedule for Physical Therapy patients and perform data entry and prepares weekly and monthly reports of patient sign-ins and makes phone calls for wellness center, HPDP programs, and physical therapist as needed. Assists HPDP staff with community-based programs and other HPDP clinic projects as needed and perform vitals and basic health screenings as needed for the wellness center and for HPDP programs.


High school diploma or GED, medical assisting certification and one year of related medical office experience; computer experience or training required. Medical Assistant (M.A.) Certification preferred, Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is looking for an full-time energetic team member to join it’s team.

The daily janitorial duties include emptying waste receptacles, sweep, dusts or wet mops floors. They will clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, water fountains and telephones. Replenishes supply of towels, toilet tissue and soap in each restroom. Washes windows at receptionist desk and patient entry areas. Disinfects chairs and reception desk surfaces in lobby and other departments; disinfects tables in examination rooms to ensure sanitation and maintains all equipment and supplies used by custodial staff.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to work 10am-7pm shift.

Dental Assistant – Full-time – 3 Positions

Job Summary

Seeking a professional, reliable, and self-motivated dental assistant who is team oriented. Position is Monday -Friday 8-5 p.m.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must:

  • Have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience.
  • Be proficient in Dentrix.
  • Have current Oklahoma X-ray, and coronal polishing certification.
  • Be in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry.

Required experience:

  • Dental Assisting: 1 year

Required license or certification:

  • Xray
  • Coronal polishing

Dental Hygienist – Full-time

Job Summary

Seeking a team-oriented, self-motivated dental hygienist, who is professional and reliable. Position is MondayFriday 8-5pm

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must:

  • Be able to serve as dental assistant/help others as needed.
  • Be proficient in Dentrix
  • Be able to treat a minimum of 8-10 patients per day.

Pharmacy Technician

The pharmacy technician will be under the supervision of a pharmacist. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Routine pharmacy functions such as receive prescriptions from patients or providers; prepare and dispense medications; maintain patient profiles; provide excellent service to patients at the pick-up window; answer patient and provider phone calls; assist with inventory management; operate and maintain automated pharmacy equipment; participate in department quality improvement activities; conduct monthly medication storage area inspections; and provide various technical support services as deemed necessary by the Pharmacy supervisor to maintain the consistency of overall Pharmacy services.

Requires current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license. Experience with Electronic Health Records and Outpatient pharmacy preferred.

Psychiatrist – Part-Time

Provides professional psychiatry to patients, primarily ranging from age 5 to age 24, including medication management, brief psychotherapy and referrals.  Provides assessments and management of diagnoses according to the DSM-5 including but not limited to Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Disruptive Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders. Charts clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, referral, and accountability. May conduct crisis intervention for walk-ins, over the phone, or by medical department referral. Will provide psychiatry to some older adults as well.  Experience working with children and families is a plus.  Must have license to practice in Oklahoma and Board Certification or eligibility.
