If you are in immediate fear for your life (or for others you care for), call 911 right now!

We often care for others before we care for ourselves. That is the way of our Native people.

But by not caring for ourselves, we become “at-risk” for a variety of diseases and ills that are now epidemic in our Indian populations. Hypertension. Cancer. Diabetes. Obesity. And so many more.

These problems are compounded by living in an urban environment, away from healthy choices and lifestyles that are more prevalent in a rural environment.

Prevention is not only a “buzz word” but for our Native peoples — it must become a way of life, so that we can continue to care for others.

If you have not scheduled an annual check-up in some time, please call (405) 948-4900, ext. 221 now to schedule a check-up.
