Our dental services are so popular that we are limited on the services we can provide. We are working hard to expand these services as fast as we can.

To make sure we can serve as many patients as possible, please remember these tips:

• The dental clinic does have a walk-in service for clinic patients on a first-come/first-served basis. If you are one of the first three or four patients who arrive at 7:45 am, you may be worked in with our scheduled patients.
• We do have counselors who can recommend you to other low-cost local dental services if needed.  Please call (405) 948-4900, ext. 263 if you need this service.

If you have a Dental appointment:

• You MUST arrive on time – if you are late, we must give your appointment time to someone waiting for the walk-in service. You will have to reschedule.
• When you arrive at the Clinic, please come straight to the Dental Department – DON’T stand in line at general registration.

Treatments Available at the Dental Department:

• Cleaning and Examinations
• Fillings
• Extractions (Removing teeth)
• Sealants
• Some root canals

The following treatments are NOT offered at this time:

• Dentures
• Braces
• Complex root canals
• Crowns and bridges
• Tooth whitening
• Complex TMJ treatment
• Sedation

Dental hygienists also participate in community outreach through the Children’s Health Fair, TURTLE Camp and other OKCIC programs.
