Current Openings: Medical Social Worker – Full-Time Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, provides Social Service duties for patients including but not limited to: Nursing Home Placement, Medical equipment applications, Coordinate Hospital Discharge, Advance Directive, Arrange for Home Health, Housing applications and forms, Indigent Medications, Complete forms for Utility, Services, Food stamps, Arrange for Physical and occupational therapy, Terminal illness, Psychosocial support and Counseling for family caregivers. Requirements: Possession of a current license by the American Association of Social Workers in the state of Oklahoma; 2-4 years of experience in social work; Master’s Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Counsel on Social Work Education. Pharmacist - Full-time Dispenses prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs on orders of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and dentists based on local, state and federal pharmaceutical regulations. Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. Directs pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals. Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs. Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medication and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory. Assays medications to determine identity, purity, and strength. Pre-packages medications for dispensing to patients. Oversees care and storage of pharmaceuticals as instructed by the product manufacturer, including maintenance of drugs according to expiration dates. Assists in developing pharmacy polices and procedures and standards. Maintains pharmacy inventory according to budget guidelines, clinic formulary and provider preference. Must be graduate of accredited college or university with Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy and have 3 years experience in a community health agency or other outpatient setting. Medical Assistant – Optometry – Full-time Description: Responsible for preparing the examination and treatment rooms, reviewing the appointment schedule, interpreting eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions, instructing the customer with eyeglass and contact lens care and use, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physician during minor surgical procedures.
