Immunizations

Protecting your child’s health and the health of others in our community is one of our greatest concerns.

One of our crowning achievements at the Clinic is our excellent record in community immunizations. Through diligence and effort, we have achieved an up-to-date vaccination record of almost 100%, far surpassing percentages in the general population.

This success has been achieved largely through the efforts of diligent staff, who work full-time maintaining an inventory of records on the immunizations of our clients. Patients can receive vaccinations at their regular appointments or whenever they are at the Clinic or on a walk-in basis through Public Health provided they are current with check-ups with the Medical Staff.

Children’s vaccines are also given at the annual Children’s Health Fair (normally held in June or July at the Clinic’s offices), which greatly helps to keep all of our children up-to-date. Vaccines can also be arranged to be given at school or in the home, if transportation to the clinic is difficult. All vaccines for children 18 and younger are covered at no charge. Adult immunizations are also offered.

Tuberculosis testing while not a a vaccine is available any day but Thursday. (We must be able to look at your arm 48-72 hours later.) For example a Tuberculosis test on Friday allows it to be read on Monday.

Appointments for immunizations and information can be made by calling (405) 948-4900,
