One-on-one behavioral health rehabilitation services for youth who are displaying negative behaviors at home and school. The mentors serve as a positive role model and teach youth more appropriate ways to handle emotions and reduce risky behaviors. Mentoring can be a powerful and effective tool to utilize with youth who are lacking in social skills, communication and interactions with others. Research has shown that children who participate in a mentoring program have the following:

  • Significant reductions in school absence
  • Better home and school behavior
  • Improved parental relationships
  • Increased self-esteem
