Substance Abuse Support
Meth, crack, marijuana, pills and overuse of alcohol are all problems of modern urban life. Our own community is not immune. In many ways the disruption of our Native traditions and uprooted urban lifestyle, isolated from the community support of extended family and friends, leaves our children and youth particularly vulnerable. The desire to fit in, unfortunately, almost inevitably leads to a downward spiral of isolation, loss, and long-term health issues.

At OKCIC we offer programs to help our community understand and break the cycle of drug and alcohol use. In a caring environment we come together as a group and community, to offer knowledge and mutual support. Our programs are based upon the traditions of the Native American community, and designed to build strength and understanding. Through a group approach you will find the support you need to overcome your battles.

Contact the clinic to learn more about our programs and for the current schedule of meetings and support groups. You and your loved ones are valued parts of our community, and we are here and ready to come together to help each of you find the right path and walk in the spirit of wellness and good health.

you love.
