The Healing Art Gallery at OKCIC is the result of an innovative fusion of art, healing, and fundraising. The project promotes and uses the art of the Urban 5, a group of local Native American artists who graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and whose work has captured national attention.
Your Time
Our volunteers give their time and talents to help our patients. There are many ways you can volunteer at the OKCIC. You may wish to work with children at our Turtle Camp, greet visitors to the clinic, or provide comfort to an elder who is visiting the clinic alone. If you are interested in volunteering even an hour of your time to the OKCIC, please contact us at (405) 601-9076.
In Honor of/In Memory of Someone Special
American Indians take special pride in honoring one another. When you wish to honor someone in a special way, you can make a donation in their name to the OKCIC. We will contact them to let them know you have done this. They will treasure your gift as much as we will.
If you wish to commemorate the life of someone special who has passed on, you may wish to provide a gift in memory of that person. You (or their loved ones) will receive recognition for that gift in a way that provides comfort and pride – truly honoring their life.
Corporate and Charitable Partners
The OKCIC is the healthcare provider for a majority of Oklahoma City’s entire Native population! Local, state and national corporations know that they are giving to a better future when they donate to the OKCIC. Our charitable partners, such as foundations and trusts, help the OKCIC directly impact the health of our community.
Corporate Matching
Does your company have a donation matching program? If so, you can double the impact of your gift. If you don’t know about your company’s matching program, ask your personnel director. Or call us and we can talk to your company about how it can help ensure YOUR giving priorities become ITS giving priorities.
Annual Giving
Once a year, the OKCIC solicits gifts from our stakeholders and individuals in the community. Donors have the option of donating to OKCIC’s general fund or giving to a specific program. The OKCIC Endowment
The OKCIC endowment allows you to donate to the clinic for the long-term. The donations in the endowment are not spent for immediate needs. Instead, they are wisely and carefully invested. Only the interest from the Endowment can be used for programs. As our endowment grows, so does its impact on our people.
Gifts-in-Kind
The OKCIC receives many gifts-in-kind. These are property such as jewelry, antiques, collections, motor vehicles or office equipment. You may wish to donate the gift for the OKCIC’s resources – or, if appropriate, you may wish the OKCIC to display the gift publicly.
The OKCIC may also receive gifts-in-kind for services, such as copying, facility rental, catering and other services.
Stocks, Bonds, Real Estate
The donation of stocks, bonds, or real estate are generous, but complicated donations. We will work closely with you to ensure your donation of these items are appropriate for you, do not adversely affect your taxes, and help the OKCIC as best as possible.
Planned Giving
Ensure your legacy for the next generation through a planned gift. There are many planned giving programs available, such as an estate gift, donating part of your IRA without tax effects, donating stocks / bonds, securities, or just remembering the OKCIC in your will.
